Interview with B-Fuse

is based in Germany near Munich. His musical influences date back to the early eighties, stemming from punkrock, ska, dub and hiphop from that era. His true love though was electronic music, with bands like Kraftwerk, leading to Underworld and Orbital in the early nineties.

Djing followed soon after, and the first contact with Drum n Bass and Jungle music happened in 1995 during a trip to London. The name LTJ Bukem quickly came out on the map, and B.Fuse was hooked instantly to the GLO sound.

From 2002 on production was the next step, although he didn’t get far working with an iMac – Cubase VST 5.1 setup, with store-bought sample packages. So new hardware and software was brought into play and a more serious starting point was well laid out. Creating own characteristic sounds and rhythms was now his passion. German Website “atmospheric-dnb.de” resembled a proper platform for showcasing his tunes, with positive feedback all over the board.

Till today electronica is his profession and he ranges between genres like Drum n Bass, House, Downbeat, Electro and Ambient. See the DISCOGRAPHY.

B.Fuse got out many releases at lables like Strictly Digital,Phuzion Digital, Camino Blue recordings, Covert Operations Records, Soul Bros. Records, Contenance Records, Plush Recordings, Vibration Records, Soul Sis. Records and Busy Folks Records .

Since 2003 B.Fuse is supporting the huge “Wasserburg Leuchtet” festival with his music, a big event with an audience boasting 10,000 people! Not only as Dj, but more and more music was produced every year especially for this event. They had their 10th anniversary 2012 and since then state of the art video mapping with professional scoring by B.Fuse was brought into place. The big success was quickly followed by Video Mappings in other towns as well with big response.
Film and video scoring is his second focus since 2008. Find out all about it on www.beilfuss-production.de.
